OPTIONAL EVENT: Golf Outing | 8:30am
Join your colleagues on The Fairmont Banff Springs Golf Course for a round of golf.
Registration fee includes 18-hole green fee, golf cart, use of driving range and practice facility prior to the round. Club rental is available on-site at the clubhouse for an additional fee.Space is limited.

Thursday, August 8


OPTIONAL EVENT: Canmore Float Tour | 2:00pm - SOLD OUT
One-hour tour on the Bow River. Enjoyable for all ages and adventure levels, experienced guides take care of everything as you soak in stunning views, inspiring stories, glacial blue waters, and local mountain history. Six people per raft. Transportation will depart from Banff at 2:00pm for a 3:00pm tour; 2 hours including transportation.
Ticket: $100/per person, includes transportation

Friday, August 9


Spray River Horseback Ride | 3:00PM or 4:00PM
One-hour Spray River Ride provides an introduction to the untouched wilderness that can be found just outside the Banff town-site. Departing from the Banff Springs Corral, guides will lead participants across the Spray River and then to admire the enchanting Bow Falls. Continuing then along the edge of the Fairmont Banff Springs Golf Course, and cross through the waters once more. A partial climb up Sulphur Mountain through a wooded residential area and back to the corrals. Check-in at the stables is required 30 minutes prior to tour departure.

Restrictions: Guests participating in horseback riding will need to be 8 years or older and a maximum of 250lbs.
Ticket: $70/per person, includes guided trail ride with lead and tail guides, basic horseback riding instruction, friendly horse and helmet.

Johnston Canyon Hike | 2:00pm, return arrival in Banff at 7:00pm
A mix of forested trails and suspended iron walkways, Johnston Canyon provides one of Canada’s most special environments. The trail leads into the famed limestone canyon while offering a superb view of Johnston Creek and its many waterfalls. This 6.6 mile hike is rated easy-moderate. 5 hours including transportation.
Ticket $70/per person, includes Certified Mountain Guides, return transportation from Banff, hiking poles, snacks, and all gratuities.


Whiskey Event | 9:00pm – 10:30pm
For those that appreciate a variety of fine whiskeys, you won’t want to miss this second annual event.

Saturday, August 10


SOCIAL EVENT: Cocktail Reception and Closing Gala | 6:30 - 10:30pm
Say farewell to another extraordinary AAED meeting at Saturday night’s closing event. Enjoy cocktails, dinner and dancing at this black-tie optional affair! Cocktails will be served from 6:30 - 7:15pm in the Van Horne Foyer.

Spouses, guests, and children are welcome to attend the AAED Meeting!
Daily breakfast will be available with a voucher, obtained at registration. All attendees of the social functions must be registered, however.
