AAED Annual Meeting Cancelation FAQ for Attendees 

 

Why is the AAED 2020 Annual Meeting canceled?  
The health, safety and well-being of our members, attendees, speakers, exhibitors and staff is of utmost importance. Given the latest information available the AAED Executive Council has made the difficult decision to cancel the AAED 2020 Annual Meeting in Nassau, Bahamas, August 8-10.  

Will my registration be refunded?  
AAED will automatically transfer your registration to next year’s 2021 Annual Meeting in Dana Point, California. If you registered additional family members, their registration would automatically transfer as well.  

What if I am or my family are unable to attend the 2021 Annual Meeting?  
AAED will refund non-member and guest registration fees in full. Please let us know by July 31, 2020, and we will issue a refund to the credit card that you used to register for the meeting. If you paid by check, you would receive a check from AAED’s finance department within 45 days.  

How do I cancel my hotel room reservation?  
If you booked your hotel room at the Grand Hyatt Baha Mar, your hotel reservation will automatically be canceled. If you booked at an adjacent property, you would need to contact the hotel directly to cancel your reservation.  

How do I cancel my flight reservation?  
You will need to contact your airline to cancel your ticket.  

Are you refunding flights or other travel costs? 
 
No, we are not able to refund individual travel costs. We apologize for any inconvenience and challenges this may cause you.   

When is the next AAED Annual Meeting?  
August 5-7, 2021 at Monarch Beach Resort in Dana Point, California.
