Strategies for the Integration of Esthetics and Function into Biology

The introduction of high-performance dental ceramics in combination with reliable adhesive techniques had significantly changed the treatment concepts in restorative dentistry. The lecture will present milestones in the integration of esthetics and function from functional veneers over full-mouth rehabilitations up to resin-bonded Fixed Dental Prostheses, integrating different types of ceramics and fabrication techniques: From analogue to digital.

  1. To differentiate contemporary treatment options with modern all-ceramic systems.
  2. To understand material selection criteria to ensure reliable long-term results.
  3. To identify treatment strategies to integrate esthetics and function at minimal biologic costs.
