Full Mouth Reconstruction - 5 Steps Protocol

Full-mouth reconstruction represents one of the most complex challenges in contemporary dentistry, requiring precise diagnostics, interdisciplinary coordination, and predictable execution. This lecture presents a structured five-step protocol for full-mouth rehabilitation designed to minimize biological and technical risks while maximizing functional and aesthetic outcomes.

The protocol follows a strict, logical sequence: periodontal stabilization, endodontic and restorative assessment, orthodontic optimization, surgical intervention, and final prosthetic rehabilitation. Emphasis is placed on comprehensive treatment planning, digital diagnostics, and mock-up–driven execution to ensure predictability at every stage.

Through clinical cases and practical workflows, the lecture demonstrates how a systematic step-by-step approach improves decision-making, enhances communication between clinical disciplines and the dental laboratory, and leads to long-term stability of full-mouth reconstructions.

  1. Describe the five-step protocol for full-mouth reconstruction, emphasizing biological sequencing and the role of each clinical phase in achieving predictable outcomes.
  2. Analyze comprehensive diagnostic data to develop structured, interdisciplinary treatment plans for complex full-mouth rehabilitation cases.
  3. Apply digital and mock-up–driven workflows to improve clinical accuracy, communication with the dental laboratory, and long-term functional and aesthetic stability.
