Please review your benefits and sign the speaker agreement form sent to you via Adobe Sign. Completed speaker agreements should be returned to sara.gillespie@wearemci.com by January 12 to confirm your spot at the meeting.

Please click on the link below to provide your speaker information by February 16. Details about your presentation, audio-visual needs and travel dates are also collected here. The AAED Staff will use this information to build the program and reserve your hotel room on your behalf at the Marriott Marquis.

For AAED to maintain certification as a continuing education provider, all speakers must complete the Disclosure Form and disclose any material, financial, or other relationship that may pose conflicts of interest. Speakers must also include a conflict-of-interest disclosure statement in the opening slides of their presentation.

PRESENTATION TIPS

AAED's Dr. Brucia and Dr. Spear recorded a short webinar providing guidance and structure when preparing a shorter presentation. This may be helpful for those that may not have experience with short presentation format. To ensure the best experience for attendees, it’s crucial for speakers to keep their presentations organized and timely.

Powerpoint Template

Due to the audience size in the conference sessions, the required presentation format is a digital presentation in 3:1 slide size. We recommend you use the AAED 2026 Annual Meeting template downloadable here.

PowerPoint Creation Tips

Limit the amount of information on each slide.
Do not use more than four colors in your presentation.
Avoid red letters, which are difficult for some people to read.
Avoid using a lot of video or transitions as they do not always present well.
