This is a unique organization comprised of distinguished individuals from virtually every facet of the dental profession. Our members are educators who share a common interest in esthetics and excellence in the quality of patient care. Some of them are dedicated to academics full-time, while others are involved in continuing education, research and development. This diverse, multidisciplinary group meets once each year to share ideas and learn from one another. It is a collegial and friendly atmosphere underscored by mutual respect and admiration.

Although access to AAED meetings by the profession in general is currently limited, the influence of these gatherings is felt throughout the world of dentistry. This is because the members of the Academy are ambassadors of information and transmit their message through a variety of channels. The Journal of Esthetic & Restorative Dentistry is the official publication of the American Academy of Esthetic Dentistry.
